Paganini Cast Iron Radiator - 2 Column

The Paganin radiator is a traditional Edwardian radiator from the early 1900's. With a simple column design the Paganini offers an authentic feel for both period and contemporary homes. The Paganini has a range of heights from 360mm to 1040mm with a choice of 2,4 or 6 columns. The 2 column range shown here has heights from 490mm to1040mm. The 4 column and 6 column versions are available by clicking the prior links. All radiators can be constructed from 3 to 30 sections offering something suitable for every room. Each Paganini radiator is hand made and comes complete with plugs, bushes, and air vents and a choice of ½" or ¾" connections. Every radiator is pressure tested and custom finished to your specification. Cast Iron radiators are finished in a choice of black or white primer ready for painting, we offer a painting, polishing and finishing service as an optional extra to all our cast iron radiators. To add those little extra details, sleeving kits and bush ends are available to complement your choice. The Paganini comes as a floor standing radiator, for added security Wall Stays may be used to secure the radiator to an adjacent wall.

Custom Painting

Standard Custom Painting in a multitude of colours

We supply Cast Iron Radiators by default with either black or white primed finishes. It is difficult to paint radiators once they have been built due to the inaccessible areas. With hand painting or spraying becomes almost impossible to achieve a uniform coating. For all cast Iron Radiators we have a painting service with a choice of colours to suit every occasion. The range of possibilities is virtually limitless, every color from the Farrow and Ball Historical color range with a choice of eggshell, semi gloss or full gloss finishes is available. In addition you can specify you a RAL number, BS number or paint name. And last but not least we have our own range of metallic colors, shown below.

 Anthracite Antique Gold
 Copper Natural Cast
 Old Penny
 Old Pewter
 Pewter Sovereign Gold

Antiqued Effect

To complete the appearance of your radiator we have developed an antiqued effect, this effect is available on all Historical and metallic colours. The technique is particularly effective on the raise etched surfaces of radiators. This antique look give a truly authentic appearance to our radiators.

 Antiqued Creams
Antiqued Green
 Antiqued Led
 Antiqued Copper

Highlight Effect

To go one step further we have the highlighting effect. The dramatic and atmospheric appearance created by highlighting is created by first painting in any of the Historical or metallic colours and then highlighting in either Antique Gold, Pewter or Copper. The result is stunning, enough to take your breath away. Below are some examples of highlight effects.

 Antique Gold with Gold Highlight
 Antiqued Copper with Copper Highlight
 James White with God Highlight
 Old Pewter with Pewter Highlight

 Old Penny with Copper Highlight

 Natural Cast with Pewter Highlight

Polishing Service

Traditional Polishing Service

Now you can accentuate the detail of your selected radiator to create the perfect centre piece.
This specialised process involves each section of your radiator being hand polished to produce that handsome antique look. Every detail of the radiator is highlighted. All areas that are easily accessible for oiling or visible are polished.

Full Polishing Service

The traditional polishing service only polishes visible and easily accessible parts of the radiator. When the radiator is not adjacent to a wall it may be seen from all sides, in this case the full polishing service is required, the full radiator will be polished by this service.

* Please note : Polished radiators have the bare cast iron polished, the surface of cast iron is susceptible to rusting and as a result polished radiators are not suitable for bathrooms or other rooms of high humidity. Polished radiators will also need to be oiled to maintain their appearance (Hint : Baby oil works perfect, and smells nice too!)

Wall Stays

Wall stays also known as wall brackets and wall ties, are required for maximum safety. We offer a choice of our standard wall stay or for the maximum effect, a luxury Auber Stay is also available in a selection of five finishes to suit your individual radiator. All our cast iron radiators are free standing with feet cast into the end sections giving an authentic finish. Cast Iron radiators are very stable on even floors, however due to the heavy weight, should your floor be uneven or you have young children we recommend you attach the radiator to a wall with wall stays, two stays are required for each radiator.
